Breaking Trail

By Edgar Hetteen

Autobiography of the life of Edgar Hetteen and his involvement

the development of the

Polaris and Artic Cat snowmobile industry.

This interesting hard cover book presents the ups and in the development of the snowmobile industry as seen by Edgar Hetteen of the co-owners who developed the Polaris and Artic Cat snowmobiles.

Hetteen takes us through his life.  He tells of the trip to Alaska in the 1960s that proved the snowmobile could be used as a viable winter alternative transportation besides enjoyed as a winter sport.

An entrepreneur of an earlier time Hetteen helps one understand what it is like to succeed and fail and succeed again and again.
