This year our fund drive donations were earmarked for
collection care and exhibition. The response is always
gratifying. Your historical society is always striving to
improve in both the care of the items you entrust to us and the
way we are able to display these items. Your donations to the
Roseau County Historical Society fund drive helps us to do both
of these things.
In 2009, the major exhibit will be Women in History with the
ribbon cutting ceremony taking place the first part of March. We
plan to honor the women who have made a difference in their
townships and communities. We will also recognize the women who
have either taught or served in any capacity in rural and local
schools. If you have any information or photos regarding any
woman involved in any area of Roseau County education, please
contact the museum at 218-463-1918.
